Intangible Klironomy

Intangible Klironomy, or klironomy of intangible cultural heritage, is one of three areas of science of cultural heritage preservation.

The preservation of intangible cultural heritage is essential for the fundamental development of any society. Society cannot develop from nothing and form new spiritual cultural values in isolation from the past. The past, enclosed in the elements of oral creativity, knowledge and traditions, is able to preserve valuable information, which is necessary to form the correct worldview of the individual.

4. Form a scientific base, conduct scientific and educational activities and prevention of the preservation of intangible cultural heritage in society.

1. Axiological method allows to determine the value of an element of culture and classify it as part of the intangible cultural heritage of society.
2. The analytical method makes possiblity to analyze the main stages of creation and existence of intangible cultural heritage element to purpose a competent approach to its preservation or recovery.
3. Synthesis allows to connect the achievements of human thought, isolated from various sciences, in a single whole to purpose of their use in preservation of intangible cultural heritage elements.
4. Comparative analysis serves as a basis to determine the main directions of preservation of intangible cultural heritage – restoration, conservation, renovation and revitalization – and their separation in the process of choosing one of the directions.
5. System analysis allows to differentiate a separate science within the scientific direction of “Facile Klironomy” and identify the path of sequence and interaction of the Facile Klironomical Sciences.
